What are StickUps?
StickUps are photo-quality wall stickers or wall murals for decorating any room—bedroom, living room, school, office, etc. You can upload your own photo, choose a designer theme room, or pick from our photo gallery. We print the photos on premium PhotoTex, which is a unique, breathable material specially designed to adhere to any smooth surface.
Where can I put my StickUp?
A StickUp will stick to most smooth surfaces. You can apply it to walls (including those that are lightly textured), doors, wallpaper, glass, and metal surfaces. For optimal lifespan, we recommend that you use your StickUp indoors, but it is durable enough for use outdoors as well.
Is it difficult to apply a StickUp?
No, applying a StickUp is a snap. Because most StickUps are quite large, you will probably want a friend to help, but applying a StickUp is as simple as removing it from its backing and smoothing it onto the surface.
How do I prepare the wall for my StickUp?
On a painted area, always make sure that the paint has cured completely according to the paint manufacturer’s recommendations. On all surfaces, clean the area with a light cleaning solution, wipe it with water, and allow it to dry before applying a StickUp.
How durable is a StickUp?
Our StickUps are printed on a premium PhotoTex material, which is extremely durable. PhotoTex is resistant to tears and wrinkles and has a patented coating that helps it retain vibrant color over time. We recommend that you do not scratch it or rub it with any abrasive material or solvent. A properly cared-for StickUp will retain its vibrancy and adhesive qualities for many years and reapplications.
How do I clean my StickUp?
Dust a StickUp with a clean, dry cloth. If further cleaning is required, you can gently rub the surface of the StickUp with a soft, damp towel. Never use abrasive materials or cleaning chemicals on the surface of your StickUp, as this can damage the ink and coating.
How hard is it to remove a StickUp?
Removing a StickUp is very easy. Just slide your fingernail under a corner and begin carefully pulling it away from the wall. If you want to reuse the StickUp later, be sure to take your time on this step, then store the StickUp on its original backing paper.
